OnePlus 4 concept renders surface: Features large display for Daydream, Runs on Lineage OS

OnePlus is rumored to be working on its new flagship, the OnePlus 4. DBS Designing has revealed OnePlus 4 concept renders with Lineage OS and a bigger screen.

The concept renders of, OnePlus 4 shows that it features bezel-less design on left and right sides of the screen. The top and bottom of the phone comes with thinner bezels.

OnePLus 4 Specifications, Features

The device is likely to feature larger than 5.5-inch display with a quad HD+ resolution to support Daydream VR. It is expected to come powered by the advanced Snapdragon 835 chipset.

OnePlus 4 phone is speculated to have a 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB internal storage. Another variant will include a 6 GB of RAM and a 128 GB. The phone is also said to feature dual speakers.

According to DBS Designing, Lineage OS will be coming on OnePlus 4. However, OnePlus has been using Oxygen OS since the release of OnePlus One till date. Hence, its next flagship phone is unlikely to come with Lineage OS.

The phone's front camera, proximity sensor and speakers are placed on top of the display, while the home button is located on the lower bezel. OnePlus 4 design shows that the device may come with a dual camera module on the rear panel. It is speculated to sport 18-megapixel dual rear cameras and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, Gizmo China reported.

According to Concept-Phones, the phone is likely to be waterproof body. It is likely to come packed with a 5,000 mAh capacity battery. The device is said to include Dash charge support and USB Type-C port. Its fingerprint sensor will be integrated in the physical home button.

The OnePlus 4 is expected to release later this year to replace the OnePlus 3T that was released in December 2016 as the successor of OnePlus 3. It was launched soon after the five months of OnePlus 3.

OnePlus 3T smartphone sports a 5.5-inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. It features a 6GB of RAM and a 64 GB internal storage.The device is pre-installed with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and is upgradable to Nougat 7.0 update. It sports a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front facing shooter. It is packed with a 3,400 mAh capacity battery.
