Katy Perry

It is not just her platinum blond hair and matching Tom Ford-metallic gown that’s why “Chained to the Rhythm” singer Katy Perry is trending again on social media. The fans of singer Britney Spears are angry at Katy Perry for making fun of mental health.

Since her last album, Katy Perry went on a hiatus and during that time she said she took care of her mental health. The break was fantastic, said Katy Perry who added, “and I haven’t shaved my head yet!” E! News reported. After her remarks, seen as a dig at Britney Spears who had public meltdowns, fans of Spears took to Twitter to defend the celebrity.

Unneeded Comment

Music News & Facts calls Katy low key for throwing a Britney shaded. Mike T. agreed that Katy shaded Britney who, despite the Chewbacca astronaut dress, has an awful single and he spelt it on Sunday night at the Grammy Awards as F-L-O-P. Busan babe also found Katy’s comment about Britney not needed.

Instead of shaving her locks, Katy went for “the last color in all of the Pantone books” that she had done in selecting the hair color she wore. It was a perfect match for her Tom Ford gown with a high neckline and long sleeves with champagne feathers for the bottom half of her futuristic outfit, AOL reports.

5th Album

The “Chained to the Rhythm” single that she dropped on Friday and performed at the Grammy Awards is part of Katy’s upcoming fifth studio album which she calls a new era for her, “an era of purposeful thought.” In the album, she would offer a bit of everything “with an edge unlike anything we’ve ever heard before.” One is a sexual song titled “Bon Appetit.”

“All of my songs have always had layers to them, never one-dimensional. I think I used to be the queen of innuendo and I woke up a little bit more, educated myself a little bit more. Obviously I don't know all the answers, and maybe I'm a little bit more the queen of subtext,” Katy explained.
