Sex Life

The food that we eat can affect sex drive in both a negative and positive way. Therefore, it is very important to know which edibles are to be avoided if you are planning to have some action. Elouise Bauskis, a NutriCentre nutritionist, said that food can bring about an incredible impact on the lives of people, affecting both emotional and physical well-being.

"Our libido can be affected by a number of outside influences, from stress, tiredness, shift work, financial worries or simply working long hours. 'The food we eat can affect our sex drive in both a positive and negative way. 'Generally fresh foods and a rainbow of fruit and vegetables will help give you the best possible chance of lifting mood and increasing energy levels naturally, which all helps to get us in the mood for love," the Naij published.

These should be avoided when you are in the mood for making love:

  • Black licorice
  • Cheese
  • Beans
  • Chocolate
  • Hotdogs
  • Peppermint
  • Tonic Water
  • French Fries
  • Steak
  • Tofu
  • Canned Foods
  • Red Wine
  • Oats
  • Energy Drink
  • Broccoli

Broccoli is rich in sugar, the kind that is similar to those that are found in beans. In order for the body to digest it, your methane-releasing bacteria will have to work to make you release it in the form of farts, the Daily Mail reported. This is, also, the reason why you must avoid beans.

However, you should still eat broccoli in more relaxed moments because this is rich in vitamins K and A, as well as, several other minerals like iron, potassium, manganese, calcium, and magnesium.
