'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' DLC rumors: 'Universe Survival' arc teased in the sequel; Expanded Conton City, Super Saiyan Rose Black Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegito soon?

Bandai Namco announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC platforms.

The latest updates for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will feature Super Saiyan Rose Black Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, expanded Conton City and the "Universe Survival" arc in the works soon.

It seems that "Dragon Ball Super's" new arc "Universe Survival" will likely make its way to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in this year's DLC. Game producer Masayuki Hirano stated before that Bandain Namco Entertainment want to bring in contents from "Dragon Ball Super" to "Xenoverse 2", The BitBag reported.

Hirano also pointed out that they are looking into the possibilities of incorporating future contents based on community suggestions

With tha being said, gaming and anime fans will likely see the "Universe Survival" arc as a DLC expansion to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" since the game is currenly launching the "Universe 6 vs Universe 7 tournament" arc this month, which include a new stage arena and two playable characters from "Dragon Ball Super", Champa and Vados.

The "Universe Survival" arc in "Dragon Ball Super" will of all of the fighters from their respective 12 universes and compete each other in a universe expanding tournament hosted by the Omni-Kings Zen-Oh. Universe 7's fighters will include Son Goku, Vegeta, Son Gohan, Master Roshi, Tien Shinhan, Krillin, Piccolo, Android 18, Android 17 and Majin Buu.

The new arc will also feature the Gods of Destruction from the 12 universes along with the Kaioshin and there Angel tenants.

Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will also have several new playable characters coming soon in future DLC as Super Saiyan Rose Black Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegito and Zamasu are making their way to the game.

There are also rumors that the Conton City could be expanded adding chances for players to explore and travel either by flying or driving a hover car . Though this is yet to be confirmed, revamping of communication options is a possibility as well given the vast area of the city, Latin Post reported.

Bandai Namco is also planning to have "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in Nintendo Switch under a working title. There will also be a co-op gameplay to be implemented on the Nintendo Switch that would allow players to share their own "DBX2" experiences with friends. No official launch date on the Switch has been announced.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is currently available in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
