How to make smartphones clean, bacteria free for use

In this time and age, the smartphones are now one of the indispensable gadgets to use anywhere and anytime. Due to those conditions, it will definitely attract a lot of dirt, dust, and even bacteria from everyday use from its owners. Here are some methods smartphone owners can use in order to make it clean and bacteria free.

Making a habit of wiping down the smartphone after use is a great advantage for all owners of the gadget, according to Green Bot. There are different items they can use to wipe down their gadgets with like anti-bacterial wipes or the screen cleansing towelettes that are available for purchase on select shops. A full size screen cleaning and microfiber phone cleaning kits can also be used.

Using Q-tips and toothpicks can be useful as well to clean up the crevices and cracks of smartphones. There are small crevices in between the glass covering the display and the rest of the chassis, which stores a lot of dirty after use. For a difficult cleaning, using a cotton swab and dipping it in cleaning solution can definitely clean up dirt.

One accessory that smartphone owners must be aware of is the headphones. For the ones with silicon covers, they can remove them and clean them separately with a toothbrush. Dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and wipe the silicon covers completely to remove most of the bacteria, and then dry it completely.

The touch screen of a smartphone is like cleaning a LCD monitor, which is why owners should not opt to use any harsh chemicals or water, according to Pop Sugar. There are cheap cleaners they can purchase like the iKlear for cleaning their gadgets without damaging its sensitive areas.

Smartphone owners can also use a special mixture to clean up the gadgets if they do not want to purchase cleaning liquid. Combining alcohol and water into a mixture with most of it water should be okay for gadgets. Do not use any sort of alcohol, ammonia, or any harsh cleaning liquid on the touch screens.

For smartphone owners who want a quick cleanup for their dirty phones, they can use a piece of Scotch Tape to peel away the dirt and dust in between the keys. It can also rid of the phone of fingerprints, which can be seen mostly after use. It will not help with removing bacteria, but it can at least remove the dirt.
