A big update will be soon released for "Titanfall 2," and players now have a good idea of what to expect due to the patch notes released by Respawn Entertainment. It details several welcome changes to some abilities as well as Titans, weapons, and more.
Community manager Jay Frechette released the full patch notes in the official "Titanfall" forums, and the main addition in the update is the Live Fire Mode. Additionally, a new Coliseum map and Pilot executions are added, as well as new animations for Faction leaders at the dropship sequence.
Aside from that, Faction leaders will randomly perform one of these animations during the game. It is complemented by the new audio DLC for commander intros.
According to Game Spot, the Holographic decoys are changed in such a way that its viability as a choice is increased. They can now be deployed on ziplines, and they do not run along the top of dome shields anymore. Also, they will be visible with the threat scope and sonar grenade pings.
As for Titans, players will now be aware if they are invulnerable during an execution, since their health bars will flash gold. Editing loadouts are now much easier since players do not lose their mod choices when switching guns.
On balancing, the Titan Tone will now deal less damage with its Salvo Core, but as a trade-off, its rockets will no longer suffer damage falloff. The dash regeneration rates for Ronin and Northstar are increased, with the latter no longer suffering from damage falloff when using Flight Core rockets. Scorch's weapon will give the player an idea where its projectile will land by aiming down the sights.
However, as extensive as the update can be, Respawn Entertainment has yet to give any information about the patch's release date. As far as it is known, it is intended to be released this month, but an exact date will only be given once it passes the certification process.
"Titanfall 2" is now available for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here is the latest trailer for the game:
