It appears that Gong Yoo is enjoying a new level of popularity given the Hallyu star's various productions such as the hit tvN drama "Goblin." Recently, the South Korean actor added two achievements under his belt as one of the male celebrities with the best charm, as well as portraying a character with a great fashion style.

Gong regaled viewers with his acting talent and impressive fashion stylings when he played the titular character in the tvN series "Goblin." Portraying the Goryeo dynasty warrior turned immortal guardian named Kim Shin, the South Korean actor's distinctive look in the said fantasy series captured the interest of fashionistas and avid fans.

The actor's titular goblin was also identified as one of the Kdrama's most fashionable characters. In a list posted on Soompi, Gong's iconic character was chosen given his impressive male winter fashion that included oversized coats and turtleneck tops.

Several of the "Train to Busan" star's ensembles for the tvN drama were even worthy of a model's runway look given Gong's tall stature and fit body. Several of the pieces that the actor wore in "Goblin" even became hot fashion items during the height of the fantasy series' popularity.

Another South Korean celebrity who made it to the said list included Gong's co-star Kim Go Eun. Given the actress' role as Hong Seol in "Cheese in the Trap," Kim's various ensembles in the drama were a perfect combination of a hipster style mixed with comfortable pieces.

Meanwhile, Gong was also identified as one of the South Korean actors that fashion experts claimed to have the best charm. Editors from InStyle Korea included the "Coffee Prince" star in their list given his charisma, confidence and fashion stylings as evidenced in the hit tvN series.

Gong's drama "Goblin" completed its 16-episode run on Jan. 21, followed by a two-episode special aired on Feb. 3 and Feb. 4. Watch a clip from the tvN drama below:
