"Mass Effect: Andromeda" acquires a new gameplay video that focuses more on profiles, favorites, and the squad. Another video was also revealed, showcasing Natalie Dormer voicing a character in the game.
A fan of the "Mass Effect" game franchise posted the lasted gameplay video, which can be viewed below, on the official website of Reddit. This is the second gameplay video that game developer BioWare has released, and it focuses on the profiles players can explore in the video game.
When players level up in the game, they will be able to gain access to a lot of skills, and over 300 skill upgrades. They can freely choose to pick any skill without being limited to a class, which allows them to create a Pathfinder that is suited to how they play the game.
There are three main types of skills that are available in the game, which are combat, tech, and biotics. When they unlock the skills over during gameplay, they will also gain access to the profiles. There are seven types of profiles, and there are currently two profiles revealed.
The first profile is the Adept, which is perfect for the players who want to specialize mainly in biotics. For those who will choose more biotics skills, the Adept profile will give them bonuses to suit their play style. This profile will give them bonuses to the duration and damage of their biotic attacks.
The second profile is the Explorer, which combines combat, biotic and tech skills, and makes their character more versatile to play. This will give players perks and buffs that enhance all of their abilities.
The advantage of using profiles in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is the feature of swapping between profiles at any time. This will give players several options on how to handle a situation, and never locking them into a particular style of play.
The Favorites feature is a quick way to map three skills and a single profile to one slot only. This feature is a big advantage for players since they can switch between four slots at any time during combat. They can gain access to 12 of the favorite skills during a fight without a long delay.
For the squad, the players' six squad-mates have three active and two passive skills. They can set their squad up around the battlefield if they want like ordering them to defend locations, attack the targets, or let them return to their side. They can also set up some Power Combos to efficiently finish the job.
Another fan of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" revealed another video in another post on the official website of Reddit featuring one of the game's voice actors. Natalie Dormer, of "Game of Thrones" fame, voices Dr. Lexi T'Perro in the game. She is one of the first characters that players will meet when they wake up from their cryo sleep.
