People began to speculate as to how the new Pebble Time would fare against the recently released Apple Watch. Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky said that there is only one thing he is worried about the new Apple Watch.

If there is one thing that Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky is worried about Pebble Time's new competition, it's the Apple Watch's home screen.

"It seems like Apple is trying to do too much," admitted Migicovsky, writes Macworld.

Pebble's old home screen is pretty much similar to Apple Watch panel. The all-new Pebble Time features a more simple yet organized timeline interface, which eliminates unnecessary apps on the home screen.

Pebble Time also features three buttons on the right side of the watch, which allows its users to toggle between the past, present, and future timeline views.

The past timeline view will allow users to view missed notifications such as a missed e-mail from a friend or a missed birthday notification. The present timeline view, on the other hand, will show information about what you're currently viewing on your phone.

While most people may think that Pebble is threatened by the recent release of the new Apple Watch, Migicovsky revealed that he's "really glad Apple is getting into this space."

Migicovsky said that the recent release of the Apple Watch has helped increase the public's awareness on smartwatches.

Tech Crunch also reported that the Pebble Time Kickstarter drew more money the day after the Apple Watch event.

The outlet cited that the Pebble Time received $6,000 per hour on Sunday, March 8, $10,000 per hour on March 9 and maxed out at $16,000 per day on March 10, following the Apple Watch event.

The Pebble Time, which debuted on Feb. 24, has already received over $18 million in funding from over 72,000 backers to date on Kickstarter.
