Ryan Reynolds and Ed Skrein accept the Best Fight award for 'Deadpool' onstage during the 2016 MTV Movie Awards at Warner Bros. Studios on April 9, 2016 in Burbank, California.

Jang Hee Eun is a character in the South Korean TV series "Descendants of the Sun" while Daario Naharis is a character in George R. R. Martin's novel series and in the HBO series adaptation "Game of Thrones." Not many fans of these shows know that the two characters have a connection.

The actors who played Jang Hee Eun and Daario Naharis were Ed Skrein and Jo Woo Ri, respectively. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jo will turn 25 on March 29. On the same day, Skrein, who was born in Camden, London, England, will turn 34.

In 2013, Skrein played Anthony Walsh in "The Tunnel" and Daario Naharis in "Game of Thrones." The latter is a lieutenant who took over the sellsword company called the Second Sons after killing his superiors Mero (Mark Killeen) and Prendahl da Ghezn (Ramon Tikaram).

Daario Naharis was introduced in "Game of Thrones" Season 3 episode 8 titled "Second Sons." He aligned with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and served as her advisor and enforce but they had to part ways when the latter sailed for Westeros.

On the big screen, Skrein starred in "Deadpool" with Ryan Reynolds, Michael Benyaer and Karan Soni in 2016. The "Game of Thrones" alum played Ajax in the superhero film written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and directed by Tim Miller.

Skrein is set to star with "Fast and Furious" star Michelle Rodriguez in "Alita: Battle Angel," Entertainment Weekly reported. It is a film adaptation of the Japanese manga "Battle Angel Alita" by Yukito Kishiro.

Academy Award winners Christoph Waltz and Mahershala Ali will join Skrein and Rodriguez in "Alita: Battle Angel." Years before becoming the first Muslim to win an Oscar, Ali was an underground rapper, The Fader has learned.

On the other hand, Jo has yet to star on the big screen. But on the small screen, she appeared in 11 TV series from 2011 to 2016.

Jo made her TV debut when she played Seo Kyung Jong in the MBC Every 1 series "Real School." She went on to play a surgical nurse in the MBC series "Medical Top Team" and a First Year Resident of Anesthesiology in "Descendants of the Sun," which starred Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki.
