Kidnapping in Mexico

Almost three months after journalist Moises Sanchez was kidnapped by armed men at his Veracruz house, a musician playing for a crowd of about 400 people at a Northern Mexico bar was kidnapped and was found dead thereafter, a state official said, Yahoo News reported.

According to the local media, the bar at La Eternidad, Monterrey has a history of violence.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the official with the Nuevo Leon State attorney general's office said several men climbed on stage and grabbed the musician, who is playing timbales for the group of Los Kumbiamberos RS. One of those who went up took him away by taxi, ABC News reported.

About 40 minutes later, the victim was found dead. The musician was recognized to be Rogelio "El Chiken" Contreras Rivera, 20. The dead body was seen to have the signs of physical torture and a bullet shot in his head, which was the main reason of his death.

On Jan. 26, 2012, eight young men and three women were kidnapped at the same bar by some unknown individuals who were also connected and probably one of the members of the organized crime in Mexico.

All of the victims of these kidnapped crime scenes have ended at the same endpoint. They suffered and experienced the same physical abuse and were killed in different places around Monterrey just like what happened to the young boy and innocent musician. Police officers are now on the hunt for the alleged suspects of the crime.
