Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff is preparing for the sequel to his 2016 action film “Baaghi” by going to Hong Kong to undergo martial arts training. The special training in July would be under director Tony Ching.

Although the actor has received approval for how he executes action stunts in his past films, Shroff needs to execute a certain type of action for “Baaghi 2.” Indian director Ahmed Khan wants the actor’s stunts for the upcoming sequel to be entirely different from the original movie, Mid-day reported.

3 Wushu Styles

He would train in three different styles of Wushu. These are Bak Mei, Choy Li Fut and Wing Chun. Before Shroff starts to prepare for stunts under the supervision of Ching, he must learn the basics of the three different styles of Wushu.

However, before the Bollywood star leaves for Hong Kong for the one-month training, Shroff must finish shooting first in May the movie “Student of the Year 2” where he co-stars with Sara Ali Khan and is directed by Karan Johar. He also has a 15-day stint in Mumbai planned after shooting the movie in May.

Cricket Games

On Friday, Shroff performed a few numbers on the opening ceremony of the Rajkot edition of the Indian Premier League at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. As part of tradition, Suresh Raina and Gautam Gambhir, the captains of Gujarat Lions and Kolkata Knight Riders, respectively, went up the stage to pose with the IPL trophy. Raina presented Gambhir a memento.

While the two team captains entered the stadium on carts, the anthem of the two teams played. There was also fireworks display, Hindustan Times reported.

Besides the cricket opening ceremony, Shroff also shot recently for the film and theme song of Spny YAY!, a new children’s entertainment channel by Sony Pictures Network.
