Nissan Murano 2015 Model

Nissan's two-row SUV was made bigger for 2015 model, however it was not able to accommodate the three child-safety seats in its backseat. The second row's available hip room is lesser on this year's model, and the seat cushions are more plumped and bolstered than the earlier generation models. Also, the 2015 model was created where it used the available space for the car seats. Its legroom increased by several inches, to be able to comfortably install two child-safety seats in the new Nissan Murano, according to Cars.com.

There are advantages and disadvantages with the new Murano. It was easier to install the convertible in forward- and rear-facing modes where it is easier to connect the latches. From both directions, the convertible had enough room and there was no need to move the front passenger seat forward just to make room for it in rear-facing mode.

The outboard buckles are on sturdy fit which made it easier for children to buckle up on ther own. The middle seat's buckle is on a short stalk and sinks into the leather seat crease. Children however may struggle a bit to connect to it.     When adding the rear-facing infant seat, the front passenger seat needs to move up a bit to be able to fit it nicely. There was still a good and comfortable amount of legroom in the front seat left, Nissan USA reported.

There are plenty of room for the car seat and the child with this new Murano model. The kids carseats does not affect on the driver or front-passenger legrooms. Also, it is easy to find and connect to latch and tether anchors.

More to add is an easy access to the third row seats, plus there is no fit issues that involves head restraint or seat contouring.
