The Ford GT got most of the attention from the audience among the other vehicles that were showcased at the car show with its twin turbo charged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6. The supercar's 600-horsepower rear wheel capability is possible through its 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. However, Ford has yet to disclose the cost of the turbo charged vehicle.

Based on the earlier model of the same GT platform which price started at $139,995, Ford is likely to up the cost to a reasonable $200,000. Trimming its weight from the previous 3,300 lbs., the latest Ford GT was expected to weigh lesser than 3,000 lbs. Production was planned to commence sometime in 2016, but due to great demands, the car maker might schedule to start manufacturing early this summer.

The Acura NSX is a powerhouse automobile too if it wasn't posed side by side the Ford GT, NY Daily News reported. It has three electric motors to increase the power supplied by the twin turbo charged V-6 engine. Combining the outputs of the turbo engine and three electric motors will produce 550 horsepower energy. Its chassis is composed of aluminum and high strength steel plus a carbon fiber floor to trim weight and boost performance. This will help boost the economy, too. The initial cost was disclosed at $150,000, tens of thousands cheaper than the Lamborghini, Aston Martin and Ferrari.

The rest of the list that were showcased in the annual two-day car show were  the Toyota Tacoma, the Chevrolet Bolt EV, the Cadillac CTS-V sedan. The Toyota Tacoma, a mid-sized pick-up truck with an all-wheel-drive capability, is a sure-fire to catch the eyes of the truck market while the Chevrolet Bolt EV is a little pint-sized electric automobile that offers more than 200 miles range with an initial price of $30,000, and currently available only in California and Oregon. The Cadillac CTS-V sedan is a fast car with its 6.2-liter V-8 engine boosting 640-horsepower. It takes only 3.7 seconds to run from 0 to 60mph; its top speed is at 200mph. Its initial price starts at around $80,000; same range with its competitors Mercedes E63 AMG and BMW M5.

Hyundai's Santa Cruz concept, Buick Avenir concept, Infiniti Q60 concept, Nissan Titan, Alfa Romeo Spider were also showcased at the two-day international car show, Detroit News reported.
