Joseph Gordon-Levitt surprised James Corden with a kiss during "Lip Sync Battle."

Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be both a star and a producer in the new live-action "Fraggle Rock" movie.

The 34-year-old "Don Jon" star already participated in a 2013 Muppets holiday special and now he will be starring in another Muppet-based movie, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"Fraggle Rock" will be a film adaptation of a 1980s Canadian TV show that featured Fraggles, who are also Muppets, which dwelled in caves. They lived in Fraggle Rock, hence the name of the movie, along with the Gorgs and Doozers.

Gordon-Levitt will be working alongside TV and film producer Lisa Henson, who started the project with Henson Co. and the New Regency since 2005.

"Collaborating with Lisa Henson makes me confident we can do something that Jim would have loved," said Gordon-Levitt in a statement.

The Hollywood actor said that he loved the original Fraggle Rock and other creations of Jim Henson, including Yoda, Grouch and Oscar. Gordon-Levitt said that he never stopped admiring Henson's work even when he went into adulthood.

Gordon-Levitt also said that he is very excited to work with New Regency on the "Fraggle Rock" live-action movie project.

It looks like Gordon-Levitt is going to be busy this year as he is already cast in several movies, including "Snowden" from Oliver Stone, in which he will play the lead star as NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.

JGL will also be starring in an upcoming Christmas comedy with Seth Rogen, Jillian Bell, Anthony Mackie, and Lizzy Caplan, according to Variety.

Robert Zemeckis' "The Walk" will also star Gordon-Levitt as Philippe Petit.

On June 12, he will also host the "Hit Record on TV With Joseph Gordon-Levitt" TV show.
