Eminem ‘Rap God’ No More? Get To Know Chef-Turned-Rapper Action Bronson

| Mar 21, 2015 02:05 AM EDT

Born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, Eminem is a Grammy-winning Detroit rapper.

Eminem reserved the title of "Rap God" by releasing his single in 2013 of the same title. It was hard to argue. No other rapper has shown the verbal dexterity that is exhibited by Slim Shady in the song. But on March 19, Action Bronson made his move for the same title.

The 2013 single "Rap God" has had its own share of controversy. Raymond Jones a rapper who is a member of the rapper trio Hotstylz had sued Eminem and his record label for eight million dollars for the use of a 25-second midi sample that is a part of their track "Lookin' Boy" released in 2007, according to TMZ.

The 31-year-old Bronson is slowly becoming one of the upcoming figures in the hip-hop music scenario. On May 16, 2014, he announced his debut album's title when he tweeted, "MY ALBUM BEEN NAMED. THE ONLY THING TO DESCRIBE ME... MR WONDERFUL. THAT'S BEEN ME SINCE I STEPPED IN THIS B------..."

Bronson continues to promote his highly anticipated upcoming second studio album, "Mr. Wonderful." The record will be released on March 23 by Atlantic Records and Vice records.

The chef-turned-rapper from Queens recently released a hilarious mini-documentary to gather up fan support. The three-and-a-half-minute clip has become viral. Though the documentary is a means of promotion for his upcoming album "Mr. Wonderful" but it has left us questioning what we have believed in as stated by MTV News.

In the clip, fans of Bronson are shown praying to pictures of Bronson hanging in their homes, and dusting his pictures and worshiping them as a part of their religion. A fan also states that "he just represents all that is great and kind and good about humanity."

Listeners are impressed by the skills and sense of humor of Bronson. Looks like Slim Shady will be given a run for his money very soon.
