Fans of “Frozen 2” were elated after finding out that a sequel was going to be in the works pretty soon. Although Walt Disney did not reveal any official release date for the second movie, Youth Health Mag has insisted that the second installment of the animated franchise will go straight to DVD, instead of on the big screen.
Walt Disney Animation Studios has neither confirmed nor denied these allegations.
The chief creative officer of Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios was the one who revealed to the public that directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee have already arrived at a fantastic idea for the sequel. According to Master Herald, fans of the “Frozen” franchise will, once again, be taken to Arendelle.
Buck and Lee will be working with producer Peter Del Vecho. It would appear that Disney and Pixar wanted to bring back the same team that worked on the Oscar-winning animated film to work on the upcoming much awaited sequel.
Multiple online reports have also revealed that Emily Blunt will also be part of “Frozen 2.” According to the rumor mill, her participation in the movie came after she filmed hit musical, “Into the Woods.” However, she had already shot down these rumors.
“No!” Blunt said, refuting all claims. “That series is for my friend Kristen Bell, who just crushed it. I am so happy for her.” She then added that there was “never going to be another Elsa and Anna.”
The same stars who lent their voices for “Frozen” will be returning for their roles on “Frozen 2.” Idina Menzel will be Elsa, Josh Gad will be Olaf, Jonathan Groff will be Kristoff, and Kristen Bell will be Anna.
