Mitsubishi CEO Ken Kobayashi will announce the latest Mitsubishi car - The Outlander at the New York International Auto show, which will be held on Apr. 2. The car will be released in the year 2016.

The CUV, or crossover utility vehicle will be marking the debut of the Japanese design model under the Mitsubishi brand name. Mitsubishi Outlander had itself debuted on the world stage back in 200, when it was announced at a motor show in Detroit.

TheMotorReport revealed that Mitsubishi has recently released the teaser preview pictures of its new flagship car and one can see the rear and the front of the car pretty clearly, highlighting the fact that the new design technology has been specially applied on these areas of the car.

It is evident from these pictures that the Outlander has gone under a total make over, and for the good. Its design was getting repetitive and old, it will be as good as a new model itself when it get released next year. The headlights appear sharpened, and the car has a dual grille design, making it sleek and beasty at the same time. But this is not all, a Mitsubishi official has said that the users can expect to witness at least a 100 changes in the new Mitsubishi Outlander, as per reports by Mlive.

Other car manufacturers will also announce their new models at the said motor show in April such as the Cadillac CT6, which has been on the list of the most highly anticipated cars. Moreover, Chevrolet will be announcing a new Spark and also its next flagship car - Malibu, which will also witness a complete makeover. Kia motors will also announce its latest model of Optima.
