Reports claimed that Rocksteady is planning to launch re-mastered versions of the previous games on Xbox One and PS4 consoles.

According to IGN, the two games will be released in the end of 2015, during the upcoming Christmas holidays.

Batman Arkham games can easily pass off for next gen because they have amazing visuals, a gripping world and a combat system that will appeal to the gamers. The Arkham series is also popular for introducing some of the menacing villains in Gotham city including Joker, Scarecrow and the Penguin. The titles received rave reviews from both critics and users alike.

A lot of titles are being remade for the new generation of platforms, in 1080p resolution. The games are also expected to run in full 60 FPS because the current generation of consoles are much more powerful than their older versions and are capable of handling the increased load. They are designed to fill in the gap for players while new installments are still under development.

Xbox One's most anticipated exclusive Halo 5 Guardians is also being developed by 343 industries but does not have a confirmed release date. The title is also xpected to be launched during the holiday season this year unless it gets postponed as well. Sony's Uncharted 4 has been postponed to 2016 while they have announced a re-mastered version of God of War 3 to fill the slot.

The developers have released multiple re-mastered this year. In the same lines, re-mastered versions of Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are expected to keep players busy until console exclusives are launched. Warner Bros owns the rights for the Origins game which is why it will not be a part of the collection, according to Just Push Start.
