Actor Jon Hamm best known for his role in the American Drama "Mad Men" revealed recently that he had to undergo a whole month in a rehabilitation center and now the details about it has been released.
New York Daily News reported that the media was not aware of the rehab stint of Hamm when he was being interviewed during the promotional tour of the cast of the said drama at the Lincoln Hotel in NY this week.
According to the media, there was nothing off about Hamm as he looked really fit and faced the press with a neat cut and neat beard. He even joked the way he did in the past since he became the face of Don Draper, the main character of the drama who coincidentally suffers from alcohol abuse and a dark situation.
E! News reported earlier that Hamm was supported by his longtime partner and co-actor Jennifer Westfeldt. Although the pair asked for privacy regarding the situation and the issue at hand due to the sensitivity of the matter, a source came forward saying that Hamm's closest friends knew that he has been having problems with alcohol and it has been going on for years now.
The source adds that Hamm seemed really sad but after his 30-day rehab stint, he is noticeably happier and doing better than he did in the past.
The news about Hamm getting into rehab has come as a surprise since he has been talking about his drinking habits and it's nothing close to his character Don Draper in the series he stars in. He did share back in 2012 that he does not drink as much as Don Draper because if he will, he might be unconscious. He even shared that he is not as dark as Don Draper is as he wants to leave that character on set and not bring it at home.
