Spice Girls might be prepping up for a reunion for the band's 20th anniversary as Emma Bunton, 39, one of the former members of the group, told in an interview that the possibility of them reuniting could be possible by next year.
In an interview with Daily Star, Bunton shared that she was with Geri Halliwell and Mel Brown and that they all love each other and they just love performing together. Bunton pointed out that the reunion might happen when the time is right since they all have their own careers and families to think of now. She pointed out that they all have to get all their five schedules together and that's when the reunion could happen.
Aside from Bunton, Halliwell, and Brown, Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm are the other members of the band and it has been almost 20 years when they released their hit single "Wannabe."
This is not the first time that fans of the band were teased for a reunion as Brown opened up in 2013 that she wanted to see her gal pals again and perform together. She shared that she will make it happen one day and gave a timeline about the get together most possibly by 2014 or 2015. She pointed out that the reunion will only happen if everybody's schedule is clear.
According to Bunton, there were many songs that Spice Girls made but were never released as they recorded a lot of songs back then. In February, never-before-heard and never-before-released songs from the band were released online, Billboard reported.
The group started back in 1996 but broke up in 2000. They reunited back in 2007 for a world tour but disbanded again a year after.
