Arnold Schwarzenegger will be seen teary eyed in his upcoming movie "Maggie," which will be released on May 8, according to The Daily Mail. The movie also features Abigail Breslin who is playing his daughter.
The actor is portraying the role of a father who is struggling with a difficult decision whether to cuddle or to kill his daughter, who is turning into a flesh-eating zombie after contracting a viral disease, according to People.
The trailer for the film was released on Wednesday. The 67-year-old actor makes a thrilling turn opposite Breslin in what appears to be one of his most emotional roles yet.
In the trailer, 18-year-old Breslin is heard saying, "Dad, you've protected me all my life. Now it's my turn to protect you. There is life with you, not with me. Don't come looking for me."
There is a very touching scene where Breslin ventures off to so that her father is not agonized by her suffering, but Schwarzenegger tries to find her with torchlight in a field.
Unlike other zombie movie this movie has an emotional side to it. Schwarzenegger even stated in a post on Facebook saying that he is proud of his new film "Maggie."
"It is the most human zombie film ever made, and it's the most human role He has ever done. He also praised his co-star, Abigail Breslin, for her incredible role and stated Director Henry Hobson, has made a beautiful film," Schwarzenegger wrote.
It appears that the action star portraying a humane role in his upcoming flick.
