Zayn Malik left One Direction earlier this week but according to People, he was spotted walking into another recording studio on Thursday leading to reports claiming that the people close to him were misled.

A source revealed to the publication that Malik told his fans and his friends that he left the band because he wanted to be a normal 22-year-old, who can relax and have a private time but there is much more than that reason. The source added that Malik has been going around different music studios and that an interview with an English tabloid will be published this Friday in order to explain what really made him leave the band.

The source that is close to the band noted that everyone feels that they were misled and are confused because he might have lied about wanting to live a normal life. However, the source pointed out that Malik might not be the one deciding about this because he is possibly being manipulated by someone else to make him do the things he is doing now.

Aside from that, the other members of the band, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan already shared their comments on the departure of Malik and they noted that they will remain friends but the source reveals that it might just be Tomlinson who will remain in contact with Malik due to this report.

Meanwhile, E! News reported that Malik might have lost around $75 million pay due to his exit from One Direction. However, a financial analyst pointed out that the money will have to be divided by five of the members of the band and that the managers and agents will be having their cuts from it but still Malik will be losing a lot of money from him leaving the band.

Malik has yet to comment on the reports.
