Marvel is going to release another film, which is linked to the loved "X-Men" films - "Deadpool." Rumors say that the upcoming film is probably associated to the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse," which will premiere in summer.

The film has finally got its green light due to the desire of actor Ryan Reynolds, as per film co-producer Rob Liefeld in Screen Rant.

"Deadpool" is an upcoming film that will be a part of the "X-Men" film series and it will follow the origin of Wade Wilson, a former member of the Special Forces who became a mercenary. Wilson was subjected to an experiment that gave him the ability to recover faster and eventually embraced himself as Deadpool. Equipped with new powers, the anti-hero traces the person who almost put an end to his life.

According to CNN, Reynold's the red and black costume, including a mask that will conceals the face, might not let the fans see the "face of 2010's sexiest man."

In 2009, "Deadpool" appeared in the Marvel film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" as an antagonist to the adamantium-clawed mutant "Wolverine." As per CNN, Deadpool's costume will be in line with the red and black suit in the comics, as opposed to the black suit Reynold's wore in the "Wolverine" origin film.

According to rumors, if the plot of the upcoming film will center on the origin of "Deadpool," then it is likely that "Wolverine" will have his cameo, too. In addition, the release of the film made fans speculate that the upcoming film is set to open another gate to a series of "X-Men" movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Last March 27, the actor teased the fans on Twitter. He posted his photo wearing Deadpool costume lying down on a bearskin rug near the fireplace. The teaser photo, which got 43,000 favorites and 50,000 retweets, was captioned "With great power, comes great irresponsibility. #deadpool #officialsuit @deadpoolmovie."

Another photo was posted by the actor depicting Burt Reynold's famous pose on a bearskin rug, with a label "That Cosmopolitan Man." Reynolds noted "No bears were harmed in the making of this photo. Though many bears likely turned on." The photo had 1,500  retweets and 2,400 favorites.

"Deadpool" is a fictional anti-hero in American comic books by Marvel comics. The character is a creation of writer-artist Rob Liefeld. Known as the "Merc with a Mouth," Deadpool is remarkable for being talkative.

The film will star T.J. Miller as Jack Hammer/ Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle/ Copycat, and Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool.

Ed Skrein will also play an unconfirmed role while an unrevealed actor will play the role of Peter Rasputin/ Colossus.

Tim Miller is set to helm the anti-hero film, along with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick as writers. Kevin Feige, Simon Kinberg, Stan Lee, and Lauren Shuler Donner are the film producers.

"Deadpool" is slated to premiere in theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.
