Suicide Squad

After the rise of rumors on Scott Eastwood's Steve Tremor and Raymond Obulowale's King Shark, David Ayer's "Suicide Squad" introduces more villains, aside from the core members of the titular team.

Another villain will join the anti-hero film, as per The Wrap. The newest addition to the antagonist party is Killer Croc, who will be played by actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

Born in Islington, London in 1967, the actor started off as a model in Milan. He graduated from King College, bearing his master's degree in Law. He then moved to Los Angeles as he transitioned into acting. He is best known for his roles in the television series "Oz" (1997), "Lost" (2004), "Hunted" (2012), and this year's hit series "Game of Thrones". He also landed roles in films like "Congo" (1995), "The Mummy Returns" (2001), "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" (2009), "Thor: The Dark World" (2013), "Pompeii" (2014), and "Annie" (2014). His other projects for this year are "Trumbo," "Concussion," "American Odyssey," and "Bilal."

The actor is reported to play the reptilian villain to Batman. With the alter ego of Waylon Jones, Killer Croc features hardened scale-like skin, which gives him increased defenses, and razor-sharp claws and teeth like King Shark. He also possesses various abilities such as superhuman strength, agility, and reflexes, aquatic adaptation, immunity to toxins, as well as regenerative healing abilities. Affiliated with the Secret Society of Super Villains, Killer Croc a.k.a. King Croc or Croc first appeared in "Batman #357" in March 1983.

The Wrap also revealed that Akinnuoye-Agbaje and actor Will Smith will be reunited by "Suicide Squad" after the sports drama "Concussion," where the former played NFL expert Dave Duerson. There is no issues between Marvel and DC since the actor's character in "Thor: The Dark World" did not survive by the end of the movie, according to Cinema Blend.

Aside from Smith as Deadshot, the upcoming party of supervillains in "Suicide Squad" also stars Jared Leto as Joker, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Cara Delevingne as Enchantres, and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

The film is set to be produced by Dune Entertainment and to be distributed by Warner Bros.

"Suicide Squad" hits theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
