Bruce Jenner is all ready to set the records straight about his personal life and the world is also in attention to hear it all. The former Olympian is expected to address the speculations and assumptions about his yet unconfirmed gender transformation in ABC's two-hour episode of 20/20.

The interview has been conducted by the famous journalist and former anchor of ABC World News, Diane Sawyer, and will be aired on April 24. New York Times reported that the interview has already been conducted in February, just before the former Olympian got involved in a fatal car crash. The title of the special is "Bruce Jenner -- The Interview."

ABC has yet not revealed about the subject matter of the discussion between Sawyer and Jenner. However, it is highly expected that the 65-year-old TV personality and patriarch of the Kardashians on their hit reality TV show, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," will open up about his tryst with gender issues.

Since his separation from wife Kris Jenner last year, the former Olympian's gender has been a subject of fascination for many tabloids. Jenner' choice of dressing and mannerism also fuelled the rumours that he is undertaking a gender transformation to become a woman.

According to latest reports, Jenner has undergone breast implant surgery recently to attain a small set of breasts for the start. A few weeks after the report surfaced, Jenner was spotted wearing red nail paint and an oversized heavy sweatshirt as if to camouflage his silhouette.

Despite the fact that Kardashian-Jenner clan spend most of their time in eye of the public, neither Jenner nor his family member has ever confirmed or denied any of these sex change rumours, to date. The upcoming session with Sawyer will be the biggest scoop yet on the matter as the person in question will be answering all the speculations himself.

Meanwhile, transgender equality groups, like GLAAD, are keeping an eye on the updates. Jenner's silence on the issue of his gender has ruffled a few feathers in the community as he was criticized for not coming out in open with his true identity. On the other hand, GLAAD has also cautioned that it will be wrong to assume things before the much awaited interview airs.

"ABC has not confirmed that this special is about Bruce Jenner's gender identity, so we strongly urge media outlets to not speculate about the details of the interview," CNN quoted Nick Adams, the group's director of communications and special projects.
