The almost cult-classic horror PC Game "Five Nights At Freddys" is going to have a Hollywood treatment with Warner Bros. producing the creepy movie starring Freddy Fazbear.

Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment, known for horror flicks like "The Ring" and "The Grudge," and David Katzenberg, known for "Bettlejuice," will be in charge while Scott Cawthorn will be lending a huge hand to make sure that the film would not get off-track and stay in its magic, Hollywood Reporter reported.

The script work is already sent out to writers and once a go signal is given, Adam Stone and Jay Ireland, along with Warner Bros' Jon Berg and Nik Mavinkure will call the shots for the film adaptation.

Cawthon's successful game "Five Nights At Freddys" movie is something that fans were actually expecting, according to Kotaku.

"Five Nights At Freddy's" is a very simplistic, yet ingenious point-and-click horror game originally released for the PC. The game started out on Steam Greenlight with not much to offer until it became very popular and produced millions upon millions of video hits in YouTube for gameplay videos posted by internet celebrities like PewDiePie, Markiplier and JackSepticEye.

The main goal of the game is simple. The player takes the role of a newly hired security guard and has to stay alive for a week on a graveyard shift. All this while being haunted by creepy animatronics that happens to move around the pizzeria. This "moving around" involves murdering security guards and causing heart attacks to unsuspecting players.
