Tesla Motors is at it again as it unveiled the new Model S 70D to be sold on Wednesday starting at a modest $75,000.

The brand-new Tesla Model S 70D is an updated model from its Model S predecessor, which is cheaper at $70,000 for an entry-level electric vehicle.

Tesla made its new car to be a dual-motor all-wheel-drive, hence the "D" in the car's name. The Model S 70D also packs a powerful 70 KW-Hour battery that can reach a driving range of up to 240 miles, according to CBS.

The Palo Alto company added new nifty features that is not found on the older models. For instance, the 70D has a new automatic keyless access system, a blind spot monitor and navigation features.

Tesla also made the 70D automatically capable of charging at its Superchargers network scattered throughout the U.S. Adding that option for the previous Model S cost $2000.

In addition, the 70D is expected to dish out 329 HP, enabling it to go 60 MPH in just 5.2 seconds. The dual motor can also reach up a top speed of 140 MPH. Tesla said that a $2,500 air suspension system is also available, according to Autoblog.

Tesla said that the EPA-rated range can be exceeded if the vehicle user is conservative in driving the car around. The EV-maker is also offering its latest "Autopilot" system to assist the driver and for self-parking at the price of $2,500.

After some government incentives, the Tesla Model S 70D will cost just around $67,000-the same price level as the luxury BMW 5-Series or the Mercedes E-class.

The Tesla Model S 70D is available at different paint colors such as Ocean Blue, Warm Silver and Obsidian Black.
