Batman vs Superman

DC universe is undergoing a major overhaul and they are truly inspired by the route Marvel is going. When seen collectively, it is evident that Robin will be making his appearance in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie.

The first clue came from Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight Rises," which hinted that Robin could take up empty space that Batman left. Now, with the appearance of Jason Todd in multiple comic books who was supposed to be dead as Robin, the rumors are becoming true.

Movie Pilot reported that the appearance of Robin in the upcoming DC movie could be a surprise and there are even chances that he could be one of the villain in the movie, as the resurrected Red Hood.

Another possibility is that the female counterpart of Robin, played by Carrie Kelley is in the cards. The appearance of these characters in multiple animated series confirm that they are still alive and assisting Batman in all his dangerous missions in the comic books.

The team working on "Batman vs Superman" did not reveal the storyline that they are working on. However, it is focused more on the books because it features Lex Luthor as the lead villain. With Marvel going really strong especially with their "Avengers" movies and the addition of Spiderman, DC has to bring all their best characters into one movie so that they could start competing on an equal platform.

Screen Rant reported that a female Robin would be ideal for the movie's storyline and director Zack Snyder is interested more in this version than anyone else. An official confirmation from the movie team is expected to be out as the release date comes close.
