"Fast and Furious 7" actor Tyrese Gibson is the new Green Lantern, rumors say.
After director Zack Snyder released an image of Jason Momoa as Aquaman with the tagline "Unite the Seven", fans arrived with the concept that "Seven" refers to the seven members of the "Justice League" - Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Green Lantern. The Justice League members are almost complete and people are waiting and speculating as to who will play Green Lantern.
The actor posted a photo at the Warner Bros. lot before in his Instagram account, which was eventually removed but can be seen in Batman-News.. The photo was captioned "I don't talk..... I move..... #WB #GreenLanternMission," which suggests that he had an appointment with Warner Bros.
As per Cinema Blend, Gibson posted in his Instagram account a photoshop of him wearing a Green Lantern costume. The post has been removed but Cinema Blend said that the actor's post has the message "The Oath - See you soon...". Among the seven members of the Justice League, Green Lantern is known to have an oath. This led to the speculation that he will hit the big screen as Green Lantern.
John Stewart will be Green Lantern's path to take and not Hal Jordan, if the rumors are correct. Cinema Blend adds that if Gibson will be confirmed as the superhero wearing the green suit in the upcoming "Justice League", then fans will see him once more in the solo Green Lantern spin-off film.
Despite of the rumors, fans still have to wait for the official announcement as to who will play the role of the final Justice League member.
The other six members of the Justice League Part One will include Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/ Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/ Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/ Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/ Aquaman, ezra Miller as The Flash, and Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/ Cyborg.
Who will complete the line-up of the team?
