"Suicide Squad" director David Ayer took to Twitter to answer fans' question #whereisJared.

On April 10, Friday, Ayer tweeted a photo of Jared Leto recreating the graphic novel cover of Alan Moore's seminal "Batman: The Killing Joke" with the hashtags #WhereIsJared and #SuicideSquad.

In the photo, Leto poses as the Joker with green hair and holding a Nikon camera while the original "Batman: The Killing Joke" cover shows the Joker holding a camera with Witz shutter camera case.

Leto's Nikon camera is also positioned in the actor's left side while the Joker's camera is on the right side in the original DC Comics cover.

Prior to this, Ayer got "Suicide Squad" fans asking #whereisJared when he tweeted a photo of the cast with a caption, "Cast read through today! #SuicideSquad."

Fans were surprised not to see Leto in the photo of the super-villain ensemble. Among those in the photo are Will Smith who will play Deadshot, Viola Davis who will play Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne who will play the Enchantress, Jai Courtney who will play Captain Boomerang,  Margot Robbie who will play Harley Quinn and Joel Kinnaman who will play Rick Flag.

Along with Smith, Davis, Delevingne , Courtney, Robbie and Kinnaman, Leto was spotted April 5, Sunday, at Toronto's Pearson International Airport where the Oscar-winning "Dallas Buyers Club" actor tried to disguise with a multi-layered, wintery ensemble, according to Hello Magazine.

Meanwhile, Delevingne and her "Paper Towns" co-star Nat Wolff were selected to receive Rising Stars award from CinemaCon at Caesars Place in Las Vegas on April 23, Variety reported.

"Suicide Squad" will premiere on Aug. 5, 2016.
