"Avatar" star Zoe Saldana confessed that she weighed 185 pounds last year when she carried her twins with husband "Burn to Shine" actor Marco Perego.

The 36-year-old "Star Trek" cast, who has always been slender prior to pregnancy, brought to Facebook her revelations, Friday. With the revelation came a photo of herself running the treadmill, looking fit and slim.

Saldana revealed that she is currently on a frustrating, painful, and slow journey towards losing weight and restoring energy with the guidance of Steve Moyer, her trainer. She admitted that while the journey is hard, the hard work is all worth it, the Huffington Post shared.

"I was 160lbs (at the peak of my pregnancy, I reached 185lbs). I had weak joints, no flexibility, and exercising was painful. We started with just walking, I think I only walked that first month," the "Guardians of the Galaxy" wrote.

Marco Perego shared the image on her own Facebook account and wrote, "Keep Pushing. You are inspiring Me. Always supporting You. Gracias de Todo."

The actress, who weighed 115 pounds when she appeared in Allure's front cover in 2013, spoke, "I've always been a very thin frame. That is how much I weigh, it's something I can't control. It's who I am," the E! reported.

Perego and Saldana welcomed their twins Bowie and Cy in the later part of November.

Saldana shared that her coach Moyer began training her in early January and is set to work his magical hands on her until June, just before he goes back to work. After the training, she is scheduled to start filing "Star Trek 3."
