After more than a decade of wait, "Tony Hawk" fifth installment will be out soon.
A leaked Instagram image recently showed what could be a possible new logo for its newest installment. It popped-up over the Internet when a caterer for an event themed "Tony Hawk" posted a photo on Instagram. The event's chief caterer Chef Joe Youkhan was spotted posing against a rink with a background that projected "Tony Hawk 5" picture showed. The image was immediately taken out, but gamers have already shared the image online.
Activision, its game publisher, said that "Tony Hawk 5" is just a working title, and not the final one, Polygon reported.
"Attack of the Fanboy" site heralded that Activision verified the development. In a tweet, it said "Tony Hawk 5 is a working title, not the final one. Look for a detailed info on this game, soon."
The new comments and image from the publisher, also, confirmed that the skating game is finally coming soon. Before the previous year ended, reports have announced that Activision is firming up details of their 2015 release, though whether it would be a spinoff or a sequel has not been revealed, yet.
Tony Hawk, the skater, also confirmed the development. He said, "I'm currently working with Activision on a console game for 2015, aside from a mobile game. I think fans of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series will be hyped."
The skater has concreted the confirmation during the International CES 2015 and announced that the new game will be for the Playstation 4, Venture Beat said.
