YouTube Music is a new music app available for the Android and iOS platform.

YouTube has redesigned the iOS apps with desktop mode and playlists.

The project is still under construction, but the company hopes to achieve a cleaner look when it will be launched. The new look will have a red header and a bottom menu which will have options like trending videos, home, etc. according to Herald Recorder.

Rumors claimed that this version appeared in some iPhones last week for a short time before disappearing and getting back to the old version. Multiple screenshots of it were also leaked, according to Web Log. The authenticity of these screenshots was not proved; hence, the pictures were not made public.

Also, one Google blog had reported that Youtube is also in the process of testing HTML 5 desktop video player which will be incorporated in MacBook, which will include a transparent taskbar, with a property to disappear when the mouse is not resting on it and appearing when the mouse is hovered on it.

YouTube also released a new app for iOS, which targets the younger generation, known as YouTube Kids. The app was launched in February and aims to provide age-appropriate content for kids and families. This app is available for download for free. Google is already working very hard to provide new apps and features for iOS. It also recently launched a great update for the photo editing app Snapseed and is working to provide redesigns for many of its app in the coming months.

The User Interface of YouTube for Apple has already undergone a total revamp and the users are pretty happy with the new update of the very popular video app.
