Kim Richards of the reality show, "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills," has been arrested early Thursday morning. The former child actress has been accused of kicking a police officer along with trespassing, resisting arrest and public intoxication.
The 50-year-old reality star was taken into custody from the restroom of a Beverly Hills Hotel's bar lounge. According to USA Today, the star was asked to leave as she was drunk with too many vodka tonics and was creating a disturbance for other hotel guests.
Richards, who often displays erratic behaviour on the reality show, reportedly went into a bathroom and refused to come out. At this point, hotel security called the cops, who arrested the reality star from the bathroom at around 2 am.
"Ms. Richards was displaying symptoms of alcohol intoxication, including slurred speech and belligerent insolent behaviour, cursing at the officers and passively resisted arrest," CNN quoted the police official statement. The mother of four also reportedly kicked one of the officers in leg at the police station after being dagged out of the restroom.
Richards has been released from custody after being detained for a few hours. The TV personality has been served with a citation charging her with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer. She is asked to appear in court on June 10.
Richards, who is also an aunt of hotel inheritor Paris Hilton, was a child star who had starred in "Escape to Witch Mountain" and "Wonderful World of Color." Despite a few other significant roles, her acting later got stalled and could not progress.
