More recent reports are now pointing LG to build the new Google Nexus 5 2015, instead of the previously reported Motorola.

Google has been reportedly in talks with different manufacturers such as Huawei and LG. This suggests that there might not be one Nexus 2015 device, but most likely two to be launched this year. It might be a Nexus tablet and a Nexus 5 2015 phone made separately by different partner manufacturers.

To add support for the LG reports, a Korean online publication reported that executives from Google have been paying visits to LG in their country. It is also reported that the execs were looking at certain sectors of the electronics manufacturer such as the LG Display, according to EToday.

Reports suggest that there is a Google Nexus 2015 device codenamed "N000" that will be made by LG. Others expect that this might be the next Nexus 7, but as the name already exists, it might be still changed.

Working towards the Google Nexus 5 2015 release date, some are reporting that it might be on the Q4 of this year. However, history dictates that Google launches their Nexus devices within the Q3 as the previous Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 have been launched on the period.

Google might launch the new device on the later part of September or at its I/O event in 2016 summer, according to Know Your Mobile. Developers should be on the lookout as they are the ones who get the news first.

The Google Nexus 5 2015 specs might be similar to the upcoming LG G4 if the reports are true. This means that its display might be a 5.5-inch IPS Quantum LCD with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. Add that to the fact that the Nexus names are based on the screen size which makes it more likely.
