"Sex Tape" star Cameron Diaz is married to Benji Madden.

"Bad Teacher 2" star Cameron Diaz was once rejected by Danny O'Donoghue, 34, the frontman of the Irish pop band The Script.

Speaking to The Sunday World, O'Donoghue said when he and Diaz appeared on "The Today Show" in New York, her assistant told him the "Bad Teacher 2" star wanted his number at the time but he had a girlfriend, model Irma Mali.

"I thought it might be a bit weird to hand my number out," O'Donoghue said. "So I said no. I would have bitten her hand off if I hadn't been dating someone. I'm kicking myself."

Meanwhile, Diaz is married to guitarist and vocalist Benji Madden, 35, of the pop rock collaboration The Madden Brothers formerly known as Good Charlotte.

Prior to their wedding in January, Diaz was mum about her love life while Madden spoke about their relationship and the effect she has on his music.

Madden told People that musically, it has been "three years of an artistic kind of exploration" with his twin brother Joel Madden, the husband of Nicole Ritchie.

"(It was a) true exploration," Benji said. "We're expressing ourselves. This is who we are now. This is where we're at. And this record says everything about our lives now."

About his wife, Benji said, "It's same for any man, no matter what they do. It drives you. All people, I think, react the same way to the same situations. Like, we were saying with Joel being a father. We all want to be the best we can be."
