Demi Lovato showed support for Bruce Jenner after his revelation as she dedicated her song "Warrior" to the Olympic gold medalist during her concert at the Vector Arena in New Zealand on April 26, Sunday.

"Bruce Jenner: The Interview" made headlines after the 65-year-old revealed that he will be transitioning to a woman. Because of this, Lovato felt like it was proper for her to dedicate one of her songs to Jenner.

Lovato shared to the audience that she did not know who Jenner was until he became a permanent fixture in the E! show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" (KUWTK). The singer pointed out that it might be cheesy for her to sing a song for Jenner but she wants to dedicate it to him as she praised the former athlete and called him a hero.

The singer also told the audience that she never thought she would dedicate a song to Jenner but because he was honest and open with his life and what he wants to do with it, she will go ahead and offer her song. She added that even if other people will not agree, she thinks that Jenner saved a lot of lives with his story and he was able to educate people about transitioning into a woman.

The father of six children and a stepdad to the Kardashians said during his interview with Diane Sawyer of ABC said that he is indeed a woman and although people look at him as a macho male, being a female has always been a part of him.

He shared during the interview that he already struggled with gender identity when he was still a young boy. However, he made it clear that he still does not want to be publicly identified as a "she" and urged the public to use the pronoun "he" when talking about him.

Meanwhile, Lovato will be taking the stage in Singapore this week as part of her "Demi World Tour," Daily Mail reported.
