"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast Kim Richards has finally decided to seek for some professional help.
Almost two weeks after her arrest with cases as trespassing, public intoxication, public officer battering, and resisting to react politely to an officer, Richards has succumbed to a rehab facility, TMZ reported.
A family insider told People, "Kim went to rehab finally, because she got arrested, she humiliated her kids and she wants to avoid jail."
The decision to ask for help came days before her appearance on the Dr. Phil McGraw show. In a preview that aired last week, Richards admitted to struggling with her intention of being sober.
The "Escape to Witch Mountain" said to Dr. Phil, "I poured a glass full of vodka, and it slipped into my mind, 'Oh my God, what am I doing? I am beating myself up over this."
Richards has previously checked herself into an undisclosed medical facility in December 2011 in an aim of ending her substance abuse struggles. A couple of days after her treatment, her sister and co-star Kyle Richards heralded that she was doing great with the treatment plans.
Upon discharge, Ryan Seacrest announced to his listeners that Kim has been discharged of rehab and promised that she will never go back to partying and drinking.
The 50-year-old actress's behavior has been repeatedly documented on numerous "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" episodes. In the "TRHBH" first season's final episode, Kyle and Kim fought in front of the camera triggering the younger sibling to reveal that Kim is an alcoholic.
Seven seasons after, Kim is still being asked about whether she is succeeding in being sober or not.
