The new "Call of Duty" sequel takes off from the events of Black Ops II, where cybernetic modifications to the human body were starting to flourish in military use. Basically, they just evolved from the exosuit focus from the past sequel.

Aside from the reveal trailer, there were also teasers launched days ago. The Ember trailer looked like an introduction to a movie where it chronologically narrates how the cybernetic modifications became part of the military and how the people hated it.

However, the gaming community's reaction is mixed about Treyarch's decision on the plotline of the new Black Ops III. Some say that it is Advanced Warfare 2 all over again due to the futuristic setting the game developers went again.

Call of Duty has been a successful franchise from its early games, but the recent sequels drew flak from both fans and critics, saying that it was starting to become repetitive.

What fans do want to see is a sequel to its successful Call of Duty: World at War, which dives in to a WW1 setting. However, Activision seems to refuse the community's outcry.

One emphasized feature on the Call of Duty sequel is co-op playability of up to four players for the campaign.  Players can also customize their loadouts and weapons before entering a level, according to Huffington Post.

Customization for the cybernetic modifications is still quite a bit narrow, just like in the exosuits in the past game. It seems that Treyarch wanted to limit the options in order for players to depend on each other's choices.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III release date is pegged on November 6 this year for the PC and next-gen consoles. The end of the reveal trailer also gives a sneak peek on, once again, zombies.
