This year, the Ford Mustang is celebrating its 50th anniversary by launching a 2015 model which was unveiled on Thursday.

Ford revealed its 2015 Mustang with its new design inspired by 10 decades of the brand's success in the automotive business. It was originally known as an American muscle car classic.

Now, more are now classifying the Ford 2015 Mustang as a pony car. Nevertheless, it is still setting new dynamics and performance benchmarks for the American automaker through better handling, enhanced comfort but with the thrill of the speed.

The new Ford 2015 Mustang now has a lower, but wider stance. Its roof height has been reduced for a more athletic build. Its track and fenders are also made wider. Ford is returning the fastback through a windshield that is more sloped, according to Post Crescent.

Ford is not forgetting the signature shark-bite on the design, but the Ford Mustang GT executes it with a contemporary touch. Convertible models are also improved with a multilayer insulated cloth top that dampens the noise, amplifying the silence in the cabin.

The Ford 2015 Mustang coupe has a number of variants, including GT Premium, EcoBoost and the supercharged V6. Although new and more powerful, some tuning companies are already toying around with the car's engine.

DiabloSport already has a tuning package in store for the Ford 2015 Mustang's EcoBoost variant. In stock, it can dish out 240 hp and 300lb-ft of torque. The tuning company offers three choices, according to Torque News.

One is the Factory HP, which does not really affect the horsepower, but sharpens the Mustang's throttle response. The second is the 91 Octane Performance which can add 28 horsepower and 48 lb-ft of torque.

The last one is the 93 Octane Performance which can push the Ford 2015 Mustang EcoBoost to pump out 30 more horsepower and 55lb-ft more torque on the rear wheels. DiabloSport was able to tune the pony car's EcoBoost to an impressive 268.9 horsepower and a whopping 348.8lb-ft of torque.

Ford put a price tag range of $28,300 up to $37,495 for the new Mustang model this year, while the coupe variants can cost as much as $42,995.
