"The Walking Dead" season 6 is still a few months away from its set premiere date; however, a new batch of details has surfaced about its future episodes' plots.

Robert Kirkman, the series' creator, said that Rick and Morgan's reunion will fulfill a major role in the whole story, Indie Wire reported.

The series' fans will be thrilled to know that the newest season's production has revealed its location, the On Locations Vacation reported.

The next batch of episodes will pick up from where the previous season left-off and will take place in Sanaa, Georgia's Alexandria Safe-zone. Onlookers have revealed that AMC camera crews were preparing the location with the show's location manager attending a meeting with the city council to finalize the plans.

While Alexandria was Rick group's newest location in season five, the update has revealed that the entire group will remain in the place despite all of the chaos in the most recent season's finale.

With regards to the filming date, no confirmation has been released about it yet; although, it may be commenced in the first week of May, just like its previous seasons.

In a sneak peek of "The Walking Dead" season 6, lead cast Andrew Lincoln has mentioned that Morgan and Rick will confront each other. Morgan, after becoming a ruthless killer, has realized that it was a better survival technique towards a peaceful life. Rick, on the other hand, is trying to keep a gruesome agenda.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 has no official premiere date yet; however, it is expected to air on AMC this fall.
