‘Dancing With The Stars’ (DWTS) Season 20 (2015) Week 8 Recap, Spoilers: Top 6 Perform

"Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 20 (2015) aired its highly anticipated Week 8 featuring two rounds of performances. The first round of performances included performances based on dance style and song chosen by America's audience. And the second round was a trio dance, wherein the top 6 couples were joined by an eliminated dance professional. Here is a detailed recap of "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 20 (2015) Week 8. In Week 8 of the competition, top 6 couples, including Chris Soules and Witney Carson, Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess, Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson, Riker Lynch and Allison Holker, Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough, and Rumer Willis and Valentin Chemerkovskiy, performed to win the judges' score and audience vote that will decide their fate.

The show opened with a performance by Noah and Sharna. They did Tango to the tune of "Geronimo" by Sheppard.

Scores: Carrie: 8, Len: 7, Julianne: 8 Bruno: 8

Total Score: 31/40

Next up was Chris and Witney. They performed Contemporary to the tune of "Lay Me Down" by Sam Smith.

Scores: Carrie: 9 Len: 8 Julianne: 9 Bruno: 8

Total Score: 34/40

Riker and Allison performed next. They did a Viennese Waltz routine to the tune of "What Now" by Rihanna.

Scores: Carrie: 10 Len: 9 Julianne: 10 Bruno: 10

Total Score: 39/40

Robert and Kym did Contemporary. They performed on the music of "Champagne Kisses" by Jessie Ware.

Scores: Carrie: 8 Len: 8 Julianne: 9 Bruno: 8

Total Score: 33/40

Nastia and Sasha took the stage to perform Paso Doble routine. They danced to the music of "Centuries" by Fall Out Boy.

Scores: Carrie: 9 Len: 9 Julianne: 9 Bruno: 9

Total Score: 36/40

Rumer and Val emerged as the frontrunner with perfect 40 score from judged for their Rumba routine. They danced to the tune of "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps" by Doris Day.

Scores: Carrie: 10 Len: 10 Julianne: 10 Bruno: 10

Total Score: 40/40

The couple dances were followed by Trio Dance. Each couple got an extra partner for this performance.

Noah and Sharna were joined by Emma Slater. They performed Salsa to the tune of "Mr. Put it Down" by Ricky Martin feat. Pitbull.

Scores: Carrie: 8 Len: 8 Julianne: 8 Bruno: 8

Total Score: 32/40

Next up were Chris, Witney and Lindsay Arnold. They performed Paso Doble to the tune of "Outside" by Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding.

Scores: Carrie: 7 Len: 7 Julianne: 8 Bruno: 8

Total Score: 34/40

Riker and Allison were joined by Brittany Cherry. They performed Jazz to the tune of "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" by Fergie, Q-Tip and GoonRock.  

Scores: Carrie: 10 Len: 9 Julianne: 10 Bruno: 10

Total Score: 39/40

Nastia and Sasha were joined by Derek Hough. They performed Jive to "Diane Young" by Vampire Weekend. Despite Derek Hough's injury, the trio earned perfect 40.

Total Score: 40/40

Performing last on "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 20 (2015) Week 5 Live Shows was Rumer and Val. They were joined by Artem Chigvintsev. They did Paso Doble on "Scott & Fran's Paso Doble" by David Hirschfelder & The Bogo Pogo Orchestra.

The results for these performances will be based on judges' scores combined with America's vote. The voting lines are now opened. "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 20 (2015) will return with results show on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 8:00 pm on ABC.
