Miley Cyrus recently hinted on Instagram that she is collaborating with Ariana Grande. However, it soon turned out that Cyrus is joining hands with "Break Free" hit maker for a new charity project for Happy Hippie Foundation.

"Love love looooove this girl! Will always be so thankful for you being your sweet little #happyhippie self and being apart of @happyhippiefdn @arianagrande #happyhippiepresents #backyardsessions #featarianagrande #comingsoon," wrote the 22-year-old star to caption the pic in which the two songstresses can be seen cozying up.

According to Rolling Stone, Cyrus has collaborated with Facebook to come up with a new charity campaign called Backyard Sessions, wherein the singer will be teaming with another artist for a unique performance filmed in her own backyard. These sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the social networking site with an option to donate towards Happy Hippie foundation.

Grande has joined the league of Joan Jett, "Against Me!" Laura Jane Grace and Melanie Safka, who are also enlisted by the former Disney star to raise awareness and funds for homeless youth and other vulnerable populations such as the LGBT youth community.

Cyrus has already kicked started the campaign with her idol in the first Backyard Sessions video and performed on "Different," a track  from Jett and the Blackhearts' 2013 LP "Unvarnished." Watch the two singers perform in a published video.

The two singers are yet to shoot the video for the campaign. As of now, it appears that the two iconic ladies will pick up an old number for the performance or might go for a mashup of their respective tracks, Hollywood Life reported
