The upcoming finale episode of "Revenge" will witness the reappearance of Victoria (Madeleine Stowe), after thousands of fans thought that she was already dead.
"Revenge" executive producer Sunil Nayar recently sat down for an interview with TV Line where he explained his decision to bring back the controversial character.
"Realistically, that's exactly what I was expecting to get, but even the people who might feel cheated won't feel that way when they see the last episode," Nayar teased.
According to Nayar, next Sunday's finale episode of "Revenge" will make fans feel pleased and happy with his decision to bring back Victoria.
Additionally, Nayar revealed that the season finale will also feature the biggest showdown between Victoria and her nemesis, Emily (Emily Van Camp).
However, not only will the showdown be the biggest for the entire series; it will also be very moving, according to Nayar. He explained, "That scene between the two of them is so charged, and the way it ends is really stunning."
Meanwhile, Van Camp recently sat down for an interview with Entertainment Weekly where she admitted that she's pleased with Nayar and the network's decision to end the series after only four seasons.
According to her, the story of "Revenge" has already been told well and fully so there's no need to prolong it with another season.
"I'm kind of happy that ABC allowed us to end this thing without keeping us in limbo. It's a much nicer way to end," she said.
The upcoming series finale of "Revenge" will air this Sunday on ABC.
