Google Nexus 5 2015 release date is still unknown, but latest rumors claimed that the tech giant is reportedly in talks with mobile manufacturers LG and Huawei. This immediately prompted rumors that Google will release high-end and mid-range smartphones.

There are whispers saying that Google Nexus 5 2015 release date will be on Google's annual I/O tech conference this year. This means that the Nexus smartphone will run with the new Android M software that will be announced at the event. However, other reports claimed Google will follow its usual launch in November.

One of reasons of possible early release is because of the fact that the current flagship smartphone Nexus 6 did not do well in terms of sales in comparison with previous Nexus smartphones. The revenue from the smartphone went down by 3 percent. This is because of the big jump in the price, which shocked many consumers, according to PC Advisor.

With reports that Google is talking to its well-trusted partner LG may bring back the flair in seen in Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. In addition, Huawei is the second largest mobile manufacturer in China next to Xiaomi and it makes devices that are at par with Samsung and Apple at a lower price. Huawei owns 11 percent of the smartphone market, which is more than its aforementioned rivals.

Google Nexus 5 2015 features may include some of the unveiled LG G4 specs such as 5.5 inches screen display with quad HD (1440 x 2560) pixel resolution and 32 GB internal storage and a microSD slot of up to 128 GB as well as 16 MP at the back and 8 MP selfie camera and 3000 mAh battery juice, according to GSM Arena.

However, Google has not commented on the ongoing rumors and consumers can only sit back and wait for the handset's unveiling this year.
