With the XBox One and PlayStation 4's continuous market success, Ubisoft announced that it plans to release a few of its franchises for the new consoles only. "Assassin's Creed," "The Division," "Rainbow Six," and all other unreleased franchises will not be created for old-gen versions anymore.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, during an earnings briefing, said "On Just Dance, we will continue to bring old-gen console versions. But on the other products like 'Assassin's Creed,' 'Rainbow Six,' 'The Division,' and the unannounced franchise, we will not have old-generation versions."

"Rainbow Six: Siege" and "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" are set to be launched before the year ends both for XBox One and PS4, while "The Division" is scheduled to arrive in the first quarter of 2016 for the same platforms, as well, Game Spot revealed. The company's unannounced games are slated to launch before summer of 2016.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft launched its latest chapter of the famed franchise "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" debut trailer on May 12, Tuesday.

Gamers will get to play the roles of both Evie and Jacob Frye, popularly described as gangster assassins who are aiming to restore London's working class justice during the city's industrial revolution, Game Informer reported. Players will travel all the way back to the Victorian era, taking London from the Templars, and managing a gang.

The game was confirmed first by Ubisoft in December 2014, following a number of leaked images about the newest game franchise. "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" is scheduled to arrive on PC, XBox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 23.
