The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 concept image is allegedly better than iPad Air 2.
The latest Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 render was created by concept designer Saber Mahmodi. The rumored device takes clues from the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone. According to Concept Phones, the screen display is as big as iPad Air 2's. It is 9.7 inches Super AMOLED panel. The bezels around the screen are slim.
Under the hood, the concept image packs 64 bit Exynos processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, 8 megapixel back camera and a front 2.1 megapixel shooter. The tablet will be available in WiFi model or a WiFi + LTE variants.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 purported release date is in June as the original Samsung Galaxy Tab S models were released in June last year. Samsung seemed to be following its previous release date pattern of the device in the summer. However, some sources are saying that the South Korean tech giant will unveil the new devices on the second or third quarter this year.
According to SamMobile, Samsung is working on four versions of the device and it is already in the works for its June release date. The line will have two core variants - the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 with the numerals relating to the screen sizes of the devices. The two models will further have two variants, namely Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi plus LTE. The specs and features are not official yet, but Trusted Reviews reported that the tablets will sport a "premium" feel as the devices will be made out of high quality materials.
