Google Nexus 5 2015 release is still unconfirmed, but LG Electronics already hinted that it is considering whether they will manufacture the device.

The statement was obtained by Android Pit, which reached out to the South Korean mobile manufacturer for comment regarding the rumors claiming that it will be in charge of making the next Nexus smartphone. The company responded that ''it's under consideration at LG.'' Meanwhile, Google offered no comment on the rumors and speculations about the upcoming Nexus handset.

Last month, reports stated that Google engineers paid a visit in LG headquarters taking a tour of the facility, which immediately sparked speculations that LG will take the helm in Nexus 5 2015.

Although the statement from LG was quite vague, but people read too much in to what the company said. While Google has not confirmed its renewed partnership with LG, the tech giant often chooses among interested mobile OEM manufacturers, including LG. Moreover, LG has done a great job in making the previous Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 smartphones. Both handsets have great following in comparison with the current Nexus 6.

According to iDigital Times, a number of tech companies have shown interest in the rumored Google Nexus 5 2015. Huawei, Motorola, and Samsung are some of the companies mentioned in various reports helping Google in its Nexus project. The report added that Huawei is close in wrapping the deal with Google.

However, if rumors proved to be true that LG is indeed working on the Google Nexus 5 2015, its features will be most likely similar to the new LG G4.

Google Nexus 5 2015 release is reportedly stated in October, although some reports claimed that the handset may arrive at Google's I/O conference.
