Electronic Arts Announces ‘FIFA 16’ Will Be Relased On September

Eight months after the release of "FIFA 15," Electronic Arts announces that it the game's successor, "FIFA 16," will hit the market in September.

Electronic Arts is planning to introduce the sequel to the popular football simulation video game in the E3 Conference in June. The company previously announced that its will introduce a number of video game titles on its E3 conference. Experts soon started speculating that one of the games to be unveiled will be "FIFA 16."

According to Realty Today, the rumored official release date of "FIFA 16" in North America is set on Sept. 22. Electronic Arts will also start to ship the title in remaining regions except Brazil which will receive the game starting October.

One of the biggest highlight of the upcoming "FIFA 16" game is the addition of the Story Mode. Electronic Arts did not provide additional information about the new feature but the company promised that it will give players a unique gaming experience, according to Venture Capital Post.

Rumors claim that the new Story Mode is an upgraded version of the Be A Pro mode which is available in previous "FIFA" titles. The Story Mode rumor first came to light after Electronic Arts posted on its website a job opening for a Narrative Designer.

Gameplay improvements on the upcoming "FIFA 16" game includes the addition of the handball violation which is not present in previous versions of the game. The game's developers are also working to improve the in-game crowd by adding more realistic features like flags, banners and chants.
